ALEX DOTULONG
Having lived in Indonesia for almost all my life, I decided to experience something new by moving to the United States. Graphic Design is my passion and I love to draw out different unique designs that reflect who I am. Being half-Indonesian gives me some drive to promote Indonesia to the world since not many people know of Indonesia.
I was introduced to Adobe Photoshop in middle school, and that kick-started my love for design. While I had been primarily focused on the use of Photoshop over Adobe Illustrator in middle and high school, I was improving my skills in layout and composition. It was not until I started taking classes at Isothermal Community College when my Illustrator skills began to flourish.
While studying, I made event flyers for the Student Government Association and the Achieving Connections Through Service Club at Isothermal Community College. I also had experience being an assistant to my graphic design instructor, Zack Freeman, at the college for a semester. On top of that, I did some freelance work as well.
I have also worked for Pure Country Weavers' Art Department as a graphic artist, and I do paid commissions on the side.
