Branding for Johnson's Exterior Cleaning
Johnson's Exterior Cleaning had began operations as a local service and needed a logo, business card, and letterhead designed to market himself within the community. They requested for a red and black color theme and some elements relating to the company like a house and water. I designed a clean logo and ensured that the designs were consistent.
Designs for ICC SGA
While studying at Isothermal Community College, I had the opportunity to work for the Student Government Association as a Promotional Material Designer. I was tasked to create flyers and more for upcoming events at the college and was challenged to make them eye-catching and attractive to college students. I also had to ensure that these designs were ADA compliant and were consistent with the brand I helped establish for the SGA.
Designs for the Institute for Youth Studies
The Institute for Youth Studies contacted me to get some promotional material made to be handed out in events. I was tasked to create a tri-fold brochure along with a flyer and other designs. I had to maintain the brand identity throughout all the designs so that it looked consistent with the brand.
Logo Design for Mt. Vernon Baptist Church
Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Forest City, NC asked if I could create a logo design for them that is clean, simple, and references the old stained glass window from the original building. I incorporated some colors that were in the stained glass window, the shape of the frame the window was in, as well as the scroll with the church name on it. They also requested the year that the church was established, and I was able to place it perfectly at the bottom of the frame. The design was welcomed by the church and has been used on shirts and their website.
Book Cover for Yi Rong Tan
Yi Rong Tan was needing a cover designed for her book and I was recommended to her by a mutual friend. During the process, I was able to learn more about designing a book cover and ensuring that the design was at the correct dimensions to be printed and distributed by Amazon. She was happy with the final design, and it turned out great when printed!
Book Covers for ICC Anuran
Isothermal Community College publishes an annual magazine that showcases work from both students and the community. The work that gets published are submitted through contests that the college holds, and that includes the book cover design. I was fortunate enough to have a few designs selected to be featured in the magazine.

Video Projects
Leading up to the Portfolio Show at Isothermal Community College in 2019, I decided to create a quick promotional video to get people to visit my booth. I used Adobe After Effects CC for the Logo intro at the start and Adobe Premiere Pro CC to put everything else together with the music. I had been learning how to use the program on my own and through trial and error, and it was purely an extra project that was not required for the show.
